The World Cup month hasn't been all that great for Opera Mini as the latest State of the Mobile Web Report provided by Opera Software shows that in June, 59.4 million people used the browser, down 3.2% compared to May, but up a healthy 124.7% over June 2009.
The drop in user base is said to be the result of "technical and political challenges" that were encountered in certain countries, but are now being resolved. The top 10 countries by Opera Mini users are, in order, Indonesia, Russia, India, China, Ukraine, South Africa, the USA, Vietnam, Nigeria and Great Britain.
